As we kick off another fun year in Competition BBQ here in California, I would like to thank everyone who helped us out in our first couple of years on the competition trail. Big Green Egg, Eggs by the Bay, Santa Clara Valley Smoking Woods, Rock's Bar-B-Que, SaveMart Supermarket, Lazzari Fuels and Wicked Good Charcoal have been very supportive in our efforts... Thank you for your support.
The Smoke Patrol Team consists of many Local Eggers, we usually have a crew of experienced Eggers made up of the likes of Michael Mojica, Evans Tabor, Steve Wong, Joyce & Mac Evans, James Schofield, Ana Vargas-Smith, Michelle Vagnotti, Ross Maehl, Kina Kim and Todd & Kimberly Hulseman, David Hill, John Ruloph, Morro Bay Rich, Scott Eaton, Antonio Tantay, Marisol Tantay, Glenn Murphy, Robin Waters just mention a few. All these individuals have played a big part in the success our team built over this past year and hopefully for seasons to come.
Also thanks to all the "True Professionals" in this sport of BBQ that have also been very generous with advice for a new team on the scene, your kindness is very much appreciated...I will keep these kind gestures in mind when I meet a new competitior down the line.
We enjoyed another fun filled schedule in 2007 participating in 12 events up and down the West Coast. We were able to finish 2007 in 5th Place with Ribs, 6th Place with Chicken and 6th Place with Brisket in the State of California this past season out of 75 plus teams.
